a little birdie...

I heart birds. just can't get enough of them!

While at the fabric store Peighton took a liking to these so I didn't argue!
Super cute little pinafore...I think we'll put it with some grey velour pants for school tomorrow and love it!

Loving this style for fall and what great colors!!!!!

I adore the addition of buttons on the front of this peasant top and such great twirl with that full skirt!

a little anna maria horner love

I just love the bright colors and the polka dots in this one!
I'm thinking it would look great with some ballet flats or some funky boots.
Now it just needs to cute photos to go along with it.....

New pattern!

Just listed a new pattern! I named her "Daphne" and she is super sweet and even better super easy to make!
Step by step directions, lots of pictures and even a tutorial on shirring.
I included an optional apron too!
Such a cute little top, or dress! Make one today!

Miss Peighton's new room...

I wish I had a "before" picture of this vanity!
So pretty now that Dustin refinished it!
I did the chair though!

Super cute curtains!

And her adorable bed! I love all the fabrics in here and the different colors all mixed together.
The bed and dresser are coming next week and then I think it's complete!

a great mail day!

oh my! I LOVE it when I go to the mailbox.....and this is what I find.....loads and loads of fabric!

"something" out of "Nothing

Lately my scraps have been taking on a life of thier own and I HAD to do something with them!

So, I've been making scrappy skirts but I got tired of those.....now I've moved onto scrappy dresses! I love it because it feels like I have made something out of nothing!
I'm thinking this may need a sash tied around the middle or some buttons on the front before it's for sale....

Jennifer Paganelli Pretty Please set

I just love this fall set! The Jennifer Paganelli fabric is lovely alone but when paired with the jet black corduroy ruffle pants it makes a stunning outfit!

One can never have too many bags....

A girl can NEVER have too many bags....especially this girl!

Loving this little tote this week. It's alot smaller than I thought it would be but still big enough to carry everything I need and a few of Peighton's things too.

Wonder what the bag will be next week....I just can't stop making myself cute ones!

Summer stuff

A 'tester' of sorts! trying out some tiered bottoms.....pretty cute but needs a little tweaking!
A sweet little halter with lots of shirring across the back. I made this one for Peighton out of a bunch of scraps from another outfit! Turned out pretty cute for "just cutting!"

LOVE LOVE LOVE Anna Maria Horner! I got some small cuts of her fabric in the mail last week and had to have something for Peighton. I adore the ties at the top of this one!

The sweetest little First Birthday set EVER!!!! Can't wait to see my little friend wearing this one!

A little Heather Bailey tester.....loving the ties at the top of this one but I think she needs a ruffle at the bottom to complete this one.

My little Peighton, the designer, picked out the fabric for her Christmas skirt! She wanted "trees and dots." So, that's what we found at Miss Peg's shop. love her.

My new favorite thing to make.....scrappy little skirts!!!
My scrap box has acquired it's own zip code....and has been taking on a life of it's own in my corner. So, I decided to make something out of them. I love it because no two are alike and I get to use all my gorgeous scraps!
I've made quite of few of these lately and have started to make a dent in the scraps!

Martini dots bag

This gorgeous bag is on it's way to Northern Iowa today...wish it were staying with me because I am in love with it!!!!! Might just have to find the time to make another. =)
